APOCALYPSE NOW???????????

Well much to my surprise n also to my dismay the rains still continue to dampen the city. Apart from the well deserved relief from the exasperating heat they also bring with them an insane level of humidity that arises in their absence.Well in all my 21 years as a resident of mumbai i have never witnessed such an unlikely phenomenon. In a city where heavy rains command our respect and patience from mid june to early september, in a bizzare twist of events it is pourin outside as i write this very post.And i cant help but contemplate on the reason for such an unusual event takin place.The past few years have borne witness to what has only been visualized in apocalyptic bible stories and incoherent rambling of so called foreseers....... Freak tidal waves (Tsunamis), killer hurricanes, Floods, etc. seem to have just befriended us out of the blue.Their occurance, magnitude and frequency not a mere coincidence. Violent thunder outside at this very moment compels me to recheck the present month.Its october for sure,atleast dats wat my calender says.Is this a sign or some kind of warning of things to come.Are we on the brink of a major CLIMATIC SHIFT. A change in the weather as we know it.The concept behind the climatic shift is based on a simple cause - effect relationship and the fact that everything in nature tends to a state of natural equilibrium.Well to define the climatic shift in simple terms >>>Our weather and climate are dependant on various factors like the moon, ratations of the earth and its revolution, currents, wind directions etc.Well due to the adverse effects of global warmin the polar ice caps seem to be melting at an alarming rate.Now wats this got got to do with the climate n climatic shift except makin the weather inbearably hot u ask.Well the currents n wind directions depend majorly on the level of salinity in the oceans i.e. the amount of salt in the water.As a result of the melting ice caps a lot of fresh water is dumped into the oceans resultin in a drop in the salinity level causing a major imbalance(disequilibrium).To cope up with this imbalance the major currents n winds will have to reallign themselves accordingly to maintain the natural equilibrium and as a direct repercussion of this the climate of the earth will have to reinvent itself tooo.......this is in LAYMANs terms wat the CLIMATIC SHIFT means. How long this process will take is still uncertain n whether or not the human race is prepared for such an event is still debateable for the magnitude of such an colossal event cannot be effectively ascertained.....

EXPECTATIONS OF FRAGILE SOULS

Our expectations have no end. They have no valid base in reality most of the times.We expect so much n hence fail to see the true value of wat we truly possess. We assign more importance to our wants n desires than our needs n material possessions. We no longer fear the loss of our material belongings, but are absolutely mortified at the mere thought of out myriad expectations not being met. We seek contentment in our expectations, completely loosin sight of the happiness that is already within our grasp.Expectations are accurately similar to grains of sand, they cannot be held in a fist,some or lets say most always slip out. Those that have an unfathomable drive to succeed are only caught up in their expectations. Do we actually live our lives or just expect to live it someday after all our neverending list of mundane expectations have been met. And to be honest that isnt goint to happen in the near or forseeably distant future. Well each day has to be lived for what it is worth and in every humanly measurable unit of time that passes by unfolds a different n unique aspect of life which cannot be restricted ny predictions n expectations. Expectations were never meant to drive someone but were meant for us all to to strive to push ourselves beyond the surly levels of human thought n hollow existence. But at the same time one must not loose sught of the smaller but significant things in life.Happiness cannot b found in expectations but rather from a sense of belonging, a sense of freedon,a sense of satisfaction,an enriched n worthy life..........

TO BE OR NOT TO BE

We live our lives in a state of utter disarray.The cacophony that we call our existence is a mere reflection of the chaos that we ourselves have given birth to.We move thru time with sheer disrespect for wat NATURE has to offer us without even givin as much as a glance to the thought "wat is the purpose of our being?" ..We have taught ourselves the art of ignoring the call of our concience, the inner voice that helps us differentiate between right n wrong, gud n bad.Everything in nature always tends to a state of total equilibrium, but not us(HUMANS).The human race is a perfect example of perpetual disequilibrium. We have the capacity to think, but not the will to use this capacity to work with the myriad gifts bestowed upon us. We are the ANOMALIES of nature,freakish abominations if i may say so. We move to a location only to multiply in an uncontrollable manner, only to use up n deplete all of the natural resources leaving behind a completely imbalanced and unnatural structure devoid of life or even the remotest essence of its existence in any form.This is our morbid reality. We are forever in a constant stupor and enslaved by our insatiable hunger for more. Blinded by ur own emotions we fail to see the reality, that we are nothin but fragile beings, skin over flesh, organs n bone. A collection of needs, wants n desires driven by a cannibalistic blood lust that we will never seem to feed. Wrongly classified as mammals, but rightly judged as viruses, the cure to which lies in the embrace of sweet death.
